we were all dressed to usher in and seat the graduating seniors that evening.
katherine and i are going to go prom dress shopping on saturday.
as dresses have, indeed, evolved...
i don't think we will see any of these vintage designs; do you???!!?!

you could cut the lace and sleeves off, raise the hem to thigh length and you might get close!
Love it! When I was younger, I loved to look at prom dresses in catalogs or pattern books. I have a soft spot for 80's fashion. You look radiant in the picture by the way. :)
We never had the joys of a prom when I was at school ~ it has only come over to the UK in recent years!!
Although I never had a prom dress ~ I did have a bridesmaids dress once which was very similar to the one in the middle and made me itch like mad ha ha !!

I went to prom about 12 years ago, and my dress is already really dated. Fashion changes so quickly! However, I did keep all of my old dresses from high school. They are fun to look at occasionally. One day I got really brave and tried one on. BIG MISTAKE.
By today's standards those old dresses look almost frumpy. It's funny how styles can change so completely. You were such a babe!
