i know that this last week's blogs have been pretty lame...
it's funny looking back that i actually did a "celebrity look-alike" blog when what was going on with me was quite the opposite:/
after having that spot on my back biopsied last week and following the directions very closely, i developed a funky rash that itched and burned like crazy:(
(very pretty, huh?)
i started the chemo cream treatment on my face last week as well. my face is just about as fugly as they told me it would be, ha!!! but no pain, and it's NOT cancer:D
so, i really can't complain about that...
on the contrary, i feel extremely grateful for the diagnosis i received!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
after craving donuts for a full week,
on friday morning i went (for the first time since october)
to the bakery...
DONUTS!!!
i was so craving a donut that i was at the shoppe literally when the baker unlocked the door!!!
i ate my donuts: i'm even pretty sure they were yummy:?
however, about an hour after i ate them, i started getting sick to my stomach...
the day was long; i was miserable!!! i don't know if it was food poisoning or a virus; but, at 1 am saturday morning i was so ill that my dry heaving busted blood vessels around one of my eyes leaving me with a black eye!!!
(as i said, no celebrity here!!!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ain't nothing like the real thing, baby...
love and God's blessings,
dani xx
ps. i am feeling much, MUCH better today:)

So sorry you have to go through this unglamorous thing. Glad you are better though Dani. Take care as you are doing.
Awww. D. Sorry you're not feeling well. I'm glad that they're getting you in tip-top shape though! By the way--I'm so excited it's almost Monday! Mosses Monday!!!! Love, C
I love how you are keeping it real! You poor thing! Lay low...just keep reading that book...no more bruises and rashes!! Prayin for you out here in CO!!
Poor Dani. I really do feel for you. The dry heaves are THE worst. I would much rather just straight throw up than go through a bunch of dry heaving. The times when I throw up these days, the blood vessels in my eye lids burst and I have red eyelids for a day or two. Isn't all this just so much fun?
I hope you are much, much better, since we all look forward to Monday's Moss Report.
I'm so sorry it's been so rough on the lane lately...but boy am I happy to hear the good news from the Dr.!
So funny that you mentioned donuts. My sister called me bright and early Friday morning. I wasn't even dressed yet. She was calling from her local donut shop. Guess she was there when it opened up too!
Oh Dani! What a tough week. Looks like you and Elisabeth are both having a rough time. Thoughts and prayers coming from room 2208 {at the hospital...by temporary home!}
Oh my Dani ~ and I thought that I had it bad here! Sounds like we have got off lightly compared to you.
I am glad that you are feeling much better ~ we seem to be back to OK here (for the moment).
Take care ~ love and hugs Tabitha XXX
I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well, but I'm glad you are better now ~ no more donuts for a while, eh?!!
It's not funny ~ Richard and i had a Indian takeout, which i have not had since September and my stomach really hurt for hours afterwards!
My Gran used to have a saying "Your eyes are bigger than your belly" That's so true about me!! I won't be having another curry for a while!
Your back looks sore ~ are you allergic to the dressing they put over the wound??
Take Care,
love,
Amanda x
You sure had a week! I'm super happy about your diagnosis!!! Sorry to hear that you were so sick. I had the flu like that a few weeks ago. I hate to throw up, but dry heaves is actually worse. Poor thing. Wishing you an AWESOME week!!! You deserve it!
Take care!!
Cheri
Poor Dani, rashes and black eyes... I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. A big knuffel to you!
Love,
Tania
Oh no! That stinks. Sorry friend.
You are brave to share your story. I bet it will help someone going through the same thing :)
Feel better!!
So sorry about this Dani - I've been away from visiting too many blogs, so I didn't catch on to your trials. You sound like you have a good spirit about everything and I'm so so so grateful that it's no cancer. How long do you have to use the creme? And is that related to you back? Take care my friend and good luck with everything. Michelle :)
Glad you are getting the medical attention that you need, and that you are doing better now...
You are a gem!
