meltdown on the lane...

and just like that, the lane went from being in a deep freeze to being in a nasty thaw...

i cannot even begin to really describe how crazy the lane's weather has been over the past year... from ice, to hot summer, to earthquakes (which i know are seismic but imo fall into the same category), to 80 mph straight-line winds, to a HURRICANE (the lane's nowhere near the coast), to ice again (this time, though, the "worst catastrophic event to hit the state, ever"!!!), and finally to today which was quite spring-like:/

CRAZY!!!

actually, i got so warm i turned on the ac in the commander today when driving home from walgreens... it wasn't what i would call, "warm" outside. however, the sun was brightly shining, and inside the jeep was pretty toasty... quite unlike yesterday morning's temperatures that nearly got down into the single digits fahrenheit!!! what a difference a day makes, huh!!??!?!!!

here are a couple of clips...

before the meltdown:

during the meltdown:

and, finally, a little puppy love:)

maggie at church:

yes, i'm using my puppy voice again, ha!)

love and GOd's blessings,
dani xx

Here in Washington, we've had a bunch of crazy weather too. Here in the Tri-Cities, it hasn't been too abnormal, but just about everywhere else it sure has been.

Thank you for taking us closer into your life by sharing these clips. The lane looks so picturesque and thank goodness it has warmed up for you. (Thank you so much for your beautiful coments on Elis's blog. you are too kind.)

Oh Dani, I am sitting here with a big smile on my face as I feel so happy to hear your voice. I absolutely loved watching your clips and seeing the lane. What an awesome idea.

Today, I spent the whole day with my camera very close by as I wanted to capture all of the ordinary moments, (mostly Savvy and Blakey -isms!) so that I can clearly remember them in 10, 20, 30etc etc years time.

Now I'm off to check out those dresses again for Katherine and cast my vote! I'll be back in a tick to let you know.

Lots of love and hugs
Elise

I'm back again!

You and Katherine have amazing taste, as all of those dresses are gorgeous. My favourites are number 2 - romantic and beautiful and number 5, as I think they are different. Do they (the dresses listed as number 5) come in other colours and does the sash only come in the colour featured in the picture?

What fun going window shopping with you.

Lots of love and hugs
Elise

Thanks for keeping us informed Dani. I always think of you when I am listening to the weather around the nation. It is really crazy right now. You have had a rough time of it weather wise. Wow. You can teach us much.

Happy thawing I guess.
