from my dear friend,
tania, the belgian waffle queen,
over at little sweethearts:D
(roll on the floor laugh my arse off;)
this blog post falls perfectly
on the hills of my katherine
telling me yesterday that i'm
"freakin' hilarious", huh???
tania explained that "rotflmao"
is what she thinks of when she thinks of me:D
i will take that totally as a compliment
because i find laughter in this life
to be as important as the air we breathe...
when i pulled the magnet out of
the darling packaging,
i realized that tania had hand stitched
each letter.
now that's a labor of love in my opinion.
and i love my gift as well as the giver!!!

Am I going to be judged as totally un-cool if I have to ask what ROTFLMAO means? I realize I could just bluff my way through this one. I admire Tania's creativity and think she is so very clever for coming up with such perfect gifts for her snail mail friends. The fact that Tania embroidered these sure does make them very special.
I love what Katherine said about you in your previous post. What a beautiful list of things for a daughter to say about her mum. These are qualities that I would hope my children would say about me. Obviously you keep Katherine laughing, have great chats together and she knows that you adore her.

I think I read the term ROTFLMAO on one of my first visits to you and you kindly explained what it meant after I asked, therefore ROTFLMAO will always remind me of you.
And "give me a second to think about it..." just wouldn't have fitted onto that little magnet!
Embroidering something by hand does take a bit of time and may result in some uneven stitches, but they were all done with a lot of love. Little gifts from the heart to my dear snail mail friends. I'm so glad I came to visit you after you commented on my blog!!!
