ONLINE SHOPPING!!!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
john has been wanting a new pair of loafers. i swear the soles on the pair he has look like he has stopped his motorcycle with them a few times (and, that may be the case as he's had his bike a couple of months longer than he's had his biker boots:/).
anyway, i found a couple of pairs similar to his old ones, added them to my "cart" (i totally DIG online shopping), and called katherine in to make the final decision since john is HER dad not mine, tee-hee.
YEA!!! the choice was easy for her to make;D
literally, less than a minute and a half later, i had my confirmation number and reply from the company stating that john should be getting his new shoes via "the man in brown" (ups) around wednesday of next week;)
now, all i have to do is print out a picture of his new loafers and VIOLA!!!
john's father's day will be completed!!!

yes, amanda, they are. so were his old pair... they are comfy, and i figured if i stayed with the same brand, i wouldn't go wrong on the size (HOPE, HOPE!!!);D
i hope he likes them, too. he's pretty easy to please, so, i think he will.

I love internet shopping too ~ sounds like a great way to sort out Fathers day!! I am sure he will be thrilled with them and hopefully this pair will not be used while he is on his bike (ha ha!!).

That's a GREAT idea. I LOVE to online shop as well. Before we went to Florida I hit Kohls.com and used my 30% off coupon to buy the boys ALL of their summer clothes and even a swimsuit for me, which believe it or not actually looked pretty ok. (I HATE to buy swimsuits, heck for that matter I HATE to wear them, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.) Hope that John has a fantastic Father's day and that you continue to feel well.

i almost always order my swim suits on line, cheri... it seems like when i get them that way i don't pick them and me apart in front of a 3-way-mirror with fluorescent lighting... UGH!!!
i just put it on and wear it, HA!!!

my weekend has been good, kellan. lol, i haven't gotten out of bed except for the time it has taken me to take a shower and change the sheets:D i'm going to do what the dr. ordered if it kills me, ha!!!
i will tell you this, though, i bet big billy will appreciate his gift that he gets to OPEN more than poor john will his card and a piece of paper showing what will be in the mail next week.
you are definitely the better wife and mother for getting out and doing it the right way:)

Perfect. Online shopping, none of this ducking out in the middle of the night (hee hee)! I am so happy to hear that you are resting and taking care of yourself. John will love his new shoes and it's always exciting waiting for the delivery of any online purchases.
I have bought a few things online and have been so happy with them. Mainly gifts, or things for Sav. I mainly buy through Etsy or Amazon.com. I am yet to branch out any further than this.
Dani, have you had a chance to start any of your knitting? I have been meaning to ask you about this for a while, but keep forgetting.

i have tried, elise... but so far with no avail. i think i'm going to have to get someone who knits to show me.
it's really hard for me to understand the diagrams. lol, so far all i've been able to do is make knots:D
