my cousin and her husband, who live quite a distance from me, just welcomed their first baby, a gorgeous baby girl into the world...

however, when i happened onto clinka's apples blog and then an etsy store she had linked, pedrosprout, i knew i HAD to order miss lucy some of these:

I think J. from Clinka's Apples doesn't have an Etsy store (yet), but she always shows a selection of items or stores she likes on her blog (you can have an Etsy Mini - that's what it's called) on your blog too and you can show people what you like on Etsy. Great way to let people know what you would like for Christmas ;)
If you click on any of the items you go directly to the store, if you click on the name (under the pictures where it says Etsy - buy handmade - click on Clinka), then you will go to Clinka's store. There are no items yet, but she'll be putting in some artwork soon.
The mary janes look lovely though and I'm sure you've made the owner of Pedrosprout very happy not to mention little miss lucy jane! There's nothing like a handmade gift made with love...
