Woo Hoo! That would have been funny seeing you lay on the floor taking those pics!

I love it when my closet or under my bed is uncluttered. It really does make your mind feel much clearer! :-)

I wish that there was NOTHING under my bed ~ I have no idea what exactly there is under there (ha ha ) ~ maybe I should get it all out and throw it away!!!!!

One of these days Dani I will be at the liberating place. I am such a pack rat. I still have birthday cards from when I was a kid from people I don't even know. Why can't I get rid of them? But I know I will. Someday, soon, I will be liberated!!!

Oh girl, I can only imagine how good that feels! I have ten years worth of CRAP under mine and I have to clean it out this weekend...

Way to go Dani. I really have NO idea what's under my bed anymore, and I guess I'm to scared to look.
I am very proud of you for such thoroughness !!!

Christy said...

WOW! How did you make that happen? I am guessing it involved cleaning? Probably not going to happen in Cakerwakerville.

dani said...

it does, tanya:D and, it is truly the first time i have ever had nothing under my bed. even as a child, i packed stuff under it, in drawers, and in my closet. i never ridded myself of anything but true trash, HA!!!
i feel like i've been on a successful diet... (that's NEXT!!!;)

Way to go dear Dani - did it feel any different going to sleep knowing there was nothing under you bed?

We also have nothing under our bed and hopefully we will be able to keep it that way. Although, at the moment, it feels as though we
don't have nearly enough storage in our house.

Katherine looks so sweet in her kindergarten photo and Dani, you really were the queen of bows. But how could you not put a bow in that gorgeous hair?

I will be keeping Nick in my prayers. My thoughts are certainly with him and his family.

Lots of love and hugs
Elise

elise, i have had no excuse as we have storage space plus, here. i just kept accumlating and failed to prune what we didn't need (nor want). i have kept the important things, though, and most of that is stowed in an appropriate place. i say most because i still have a couple of rooms, closets, and cabinets to go:)
yes, i was, indeed, the mother of all bow-wearers;b katherine said, "there's that bow again!!!" when she saw my wednesday post, ha!!!
and, finally, thank you so for your prayers for nick!!! i haven't heard anything the last couple of days, so i hope that is good news:)
i hope you are having a very nice weekend!!!
love,
dani

dani said...

thanks, shannon!!! you would have been in rummage/garage sale heaven... but, i just had so much with which to deal that i sent it on its merry way to the salvation army and the goodwill:)
i hope they can sell it, and do some good with the proceeds:)
have a great saturday:D

dani

When are you coming down to clean under my bed? I looked the other day and I have Kitty's play pen under there because I just don't know where else to put it. It looks fantastic and it's the best feeling when you get a job like that done isn't it?

Em

Me again...Dani if you ever get bored and can't think what to post can you do one to explain your schooling system? I know you said Kat's going to be a sophamore but what is a sophamore?

Love Em

i would love to come down there, em, and help you do whatever:) and i will explain our schooling in a post... (i have an idea to do just that:)
as far as nick goes, i haven't heard from bill since the day after my post. he sent a log on what had been going on daily. but, it was just up to the afternoon of his original email.
nick and his family have been to hell and back, em. right now all of what is going on has to do with his body rejecting the stem cell donation he received. thank you for asking!!!

Hi Dani!
No I don't have a puggle. That's just a picture I found. I liked how his eyes looked so sad & tired. It's how I was feeling. But yes he is so cute...
I wish under my bed was clean. Wow - your cat is going to have so much fun with all that space..

dani said...

bren, if the cats weren't so darn lazy, they would enjoy all the space, HA!!! i'm happy you are no longer feeling quite so puggle'ish:) (but, they are adorable;)

dani

Hi Dani,
Good on you. At first I was looking for something and then realised that there was "nothing." When I was younger I could not go to sleep till I checked under the bed. Then I realized that if the space was filled up with goods that had no other home I would not have to check if a sinister evel something had taken resisdence under my bed. Now I have a very high queen bed with nothing at all under it just like yours and a quick check is all it takes. Ia'm sure that Phoebe and Jimmy would save me from whaterever.
Bet you feel great after all the declutting.
All my love and hugs.

Well done Dani! I love a good de-clutter myself, it is ALMOST like nesting without the pregnancy or the baby! I never seem to have enough space even when i have a major cleanout for the Salvos to come and get!!!! I am just a "stuff" kind of girl i guess.

Take care

dani said...

hi, miss lucy:) it's funny that you mention something evil dwelling under your bed...
LOL!!! when i was a little girl i would take a running leap from the doorway of my bedroom into my bed so that nothing would grab my ankles!!! michael jordan had nothing on me ("air dani";). i wasn't even brave enough to look!!!

dani

dani said...

just the thought of cleaning it made me cry, jenn!!! i've taken my flip-flops off nearly in the middle of our room the past few days so that they wouldn't (even by accident) get shoved underneath into my new-found nothingness, HA!!!

dani

not stupid at all, kellan!!! i was the one who was "stupid" to let it get as cluttered as i did:)
